These General Terms and Conditions govern contracts for accommodation, catering, events, rooms, activities and related services. The contractual partner is the Hotel & Eventcenter der Meilenstein GmbH. Deviating conditions apply only with express consent. Individual offers and confirmations take precedence.

Offers are binding for the stated period. A contract is concluded by written or electronic confirmation, in the case of instant bookings by the booking confirmation, or by the provision of the service. The person making the booking must provide complete information and is liable to the extent permitted by law for registered participants.

The applicable prices are the confirmed prices in Swiss francs, including any stated taxes and charges. Additional services will be invoiced separately. Payment deadlines, advance payments and securities are set out in the confirmation. In case of default, statutory default interest and reasonable collection costs may be charged after a reminder, and further services may be withheld.

Rebooking and cancellation conditions are set out in the offer, rate or confirmation. If no special regulation exists, demonstrable damages incurred may be claimed, offset by saved expenses. The customer may provide evidence of a lesser loss. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

Rooms are available at the communicated check‑in and check‑out times. A specific room number is only guaranteed if expressly confirmed. If the booked category is unavailable for unforeseeable reasons, an equivalent or higher-category alternative will be offered where possible.

Number of persons, schedule, room allocation, technical equipment, food and services are governed by the confirmation. Notification deadlines and minimum quantities are specified in the offer. Unauthorized third‑party services, decorations, installations, as well as brought‑in food or beverages require prior approval. Conditions, safety rules and house rules must be observed.

Guests must use facilities with care, follow instructions as well as safety and youth protection regulations, and refrain from disturbances. In cases of significant or repeated breaches, further performance may be refused. The person making the booking is legally liable for damages caused by them or their participants.

If third‑party services are merely arranged or linked, the contract is concluded directly with the third‑party provider, unless otherwise confirmed. Their terms apply. For its own personnel, the Hotel & Eventcenter der Meilenstein GmbH is liable within the limits of mandatory law.

We are liable for direct damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breach of contract. Any further liability, in particular for slight negligence, indirect damages or loss of profit, is excluded to the extent legally permissible. Mandatory liability, in particular for personal injury and under applicable accommodation regulations, remains reserved.

If a service cannot be performed or can only be substantially impeded due to an event beyond reasonable control, the parties will negotiate about postponement or replacement. Services already rendered and non‑cancelable third‑party costs remain payable, insofar as legally permitted and reasonable.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy published on this website. Organisers must ensure they are lawfully permitted to transmit participant data.

If a provision is invalid, the contract remains otherwise in force; mandatory law shall take its place. Amendments require at least text form, unless a stricter form is required. Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Langenthal, unless a mandatory statutory place of jurisdiction exists.
